Dragging my feet with this, I know and because I don't really need it right now for short weekend trips to campgrounds and eventually will bite the bullet and spend the $400 for a new one.
Now there you go and you can buy a new Chinese Champion 3500 watt for under $300. Yep, the whole genset brand new and with good reviews as well. Pull start of course, let alone dash board control and mods would be needed for installing it in the same compartment, but the point is, why do parts for these OEM units, cost so much and especially when most are subbed out to China anyway.
