Well I took the rig to Craig's, generator shop,in Pensacola, FL.
Had to replace voltage reg., and cleaned the slip ring.
If in this area Craig's is the place to go. When he showed me the slip ring I though he would tell me it would require removal and replacement. But, he said no just need cleaning. Did that in about a minute, with sandpaper on a piece of wood.
Could have charged a lot of labor, but he did not.
Nice to deal with an honest shop.
