parking brake lock up

I have a 34 foot coachman sportscoach with the small diesel (Freightliner chassis with a Cummins ISB6.7) . On 2 occasions now after parked for a few weeks the parking brake wouldn't release until I goosed the gas a little breaking it free. Everything worked Ok after that. Any ideas? THX

    Especially if it's raining when you pull in drag the brakes a bit to heat them up and dry the shoes off before setting the brake.

    Yup if air pressure up (assume it is), then just rust holding shoes to drums.

    Rocking it usually frees it up.

    Just a little rust on the brakes. Try setting the brakes, wait a few minutes for the brakes to cool, release the parking brake and reset.
