Parts for Rear View Mirrors

I have a 2005 Cheetah Safari and would like help to find replacement parts for the rearview mirrors, manufacturer is Velvac.

The chrome plating is coming off parts of the mirror assembly.

I've look up the mirrors, they are pretty expensive to replace the whole thing.

Any help is very appreciated.

  • There are some velvac mirror assemblies on ebay. Just search for "velvac rv mirror".

  • Thank you Falconman.

Everyone is so nice to help out other rv owners with all kinds of issues. How great is that?
  • You can order from Velvac directly. We replaced the mirror bases that had the peeling
Chrome for about $250 each! The entire mirror would be $1100. Go online to their website and pinpoint which mirror style is yours before calling. They do have a lot of information on the site about repairs and installation. Others I know have had them replated or painted to match the coach.
  • Darsben, thank you. The shop is located here in Gainesville, Fl. which is where we are located.
  • If nothing else works they may be able to be replated

  • when I stopped by Northwest RV Supply last summer, they had a pretty good selection on surplus Velvac mirrors and parts. Everything from individual glass parts to castings. Also, major sub-assemblies and complete mirrors. Prices were reasonable. (866) 678-7467

The guys there were very helpful and knew their interchange stuff. I bought a used base casting for my mirror and repaired the mirror myself.
