Poor water pressure out of shower head

+1 for Oxygenics. To note, I read somwhere that the white ones are more prone to defects/breakage than the chome ones. We've had our chrome one for a couple of years with no problems. Helpful hint: keep the OEM shower head just in case you decide to sell/trade your unit so you can take your Oxygenics with you to your new rig.

How about soaking the shower head in CLR for a couple of hours. It will remove all of the calcium buildup in the shower head. You can also use HOT vinegar and water, half and half, and let it take out all the buildup. CLR is a product available in Canada, and I assume also in the US.

We had same problem and got the Oxygenics showerhead. It surely does put out more water. HOWEVER, it is very top-heavy and we could not travel with it in the wall bracket. Also could not leave it swinging in shower hitting walls so had to remove it each time we moved. Hassle. Next it started leaking from the bottom part in no time and no way to repair. Got it at Camping World. Receipt is at home. Can't get to CW as we are on the job. Cost more to get it returned than it is worth. Very disappointed; will not buy another one. On our last camper the dealer replaced the showerhead with one that looked just like the one that came in it. However, it had great waterflow. I do not know brand, but plan to find out from the service guy.

Drilled out the reducer and got an Oxygenic Shower head. Works great!

Did the same thing on the one in 5th wheel.

Now that we have a house again......yep, did it to them also.

Big improvement in flow. Dang flow resisters.

I would do as Fred suggests and then get an Oxygenics shower head. In combination with a "good" (like a Watts) water regulater, you will have a shower like at home.

I had the same problem and found a plastic reducer washer, where the flexible hose attached to the faucet on the wall. Drilled out the hole in the reducer, a small bit at a time, till I got the pressure I wanted. Of course the 6 gallons of hot water doesn't last as long with the higher pressure/volume. But a good trade off, IMHO.
