- azrvingExplorerAnti sway bar rubber mounts deteriorated resulting in occasional metal to metal contact?
- Johno02ExplorerI get all kinds of popping sounds whenever I bend over or turn quickly. Mostly without the Motor Home. or especially in it.
- Matt_ColieExplorer IIDan,
That shocks are about the only thing it isn't likely to be.
Can you feel anything in the steering?
Age and miles on the vehicle might help.
Matt - PastorCharlieExplorerCheck steering linkage, suspension parts, wheel bearings, etc..
- tommy_gExplorerDoes the "popping" sound like it's coming from the suspension or where the body meets it?
- Teacher_s_PetExplorerWe had a "popping sound" when turning and using brakes on DS front. Brake shoes were hanging up on the "pivot pin" according to mechanic. Cause was a leaking inside wheel bearing seal. Check for grease on inside of front wheels.
- Houston_RemodelExplorerDo you have a WDH (weight distributing hitch) that's rubbing ?
- rgatijnet1Explorer IIITurn the wheel with the RV stationary to isolate a steering component noise from a body component noise caused by coach sway.
- LVJ58ExplorerMight want to call the Tiffin folks, perhaps they've had issues with other coaches with the same problem as your's...
Just a suggestion,
