Beyond the weight issue is the issue of flex. Ceramic tile does not allow for any flex or any imperfections in the floor. The tiles will crack and lift. For a motorhome you need a flooring that has some flexing abilities. If you do decide to go with ceramic tile, be sure to pick out what you will be replacing it with while your at the store. It will save you a little time down the road. ;)
If you are going to install the tile following best practices from 1940, you are probably correct. If you understand current technology and use the correct products, not so much. When you get involved with high tech. membranes and synthetic grouts, you would be amazed at how flexible, and durable, installation can be.
