Question about EZE gutters

My 2007 Endeavor has the dreaded Monaco door leak where water surface tension allows water to follow a path around the door molding and down inside the door.

Last winter I fashioned a gutter using some aluminum channel which works pretty well. I ran across the poly EZE gutter that comes in a 10' roll in black. I've got two questions. First is about the foam backing. I assume that with proper surface prep such as cleaning with alcohol that it sticks well. Second question is about flexibility. Assume that it will bend in an arch around the top of the door.

Thanks in advance for your responses.
  • I have used EZE gutter a few years back when I had a fifth wheel. Its a great product, I used it around my rear windows that were only about 12'' wide and the radius on the corners was small. I think I heated the gutter with a hair dryer before the installation. It formed perfectly around the corners and never moved in the nine years I owned it....Bruce
  • I added the pvc gutters to our motorhome about 10 years ago with the self stick backing it has never came off and the black streaks pretty much dissappeared that's what I used it for it come in much bigger rolls then 10 feet it's pretty flexable good luck Tom
