Recommendations RV Repair electrical/inverter NC

I'm looking for recommendations for a RV repair shop/mobile unit that is knowledgeable with the electrical system and inverter for a Class A DP in the Raleigh-Durham NC area/surrounding areas or other states (Virginia, Maryland, etc.) Thanks.
  • Techmaster Marine is the Magnum inverter service tech for the east cost of the US and he is located in Washington, NC. His service area is from FL to MD. 858-204-8878. Nice person.
  • I ran my DP Winnebago for several years with the inverter sitting at home. I made a jumper from the hot side of the chassis batteries to the hot side of the deep cycle house batteries and they would charge while going down the road. If they became depleted while sitting I had a charger that I hooked up to replenish them......worked for me as I was to lazy to reinstall the inverter after having it repaired the 2nd time

There used to be a guy around Denton that was a factory rep for Xantrax inverters-----I have his info at home if you don't find anything. Also a good repair place near Colridge, NC I also have that info at home.......

Thanks. My problem is bigger than I thought. Either the alternator or voltage regulator or both are not working and need repaired/replaced and the inverter needs to be repaired. I cannot find any mobile repair that can help me and the RV shops are booked out for a couple of months. I have an external battery charger keeping the batteries charged.

  • There is also a Camping World in Clayton but I wouldn't go there..Mario's is fine and if you were a bit east towards Rocky Mount there is someone. Your inverter might need a new board and in that case you would have to call the manufacturer of that inverter to find a place that can do that.
