- tenn_vol_ExplorerThanks Pete, I did leave the line to ram cracked till
I got fluid and then snugged it down. Works good, thanks
for the input.
I have your # if I have any questions about HWH I will
shirley call you...I SAY THAT A JOKE BOY,A JOKE......
tenn.............. - azpeteExplorerif it is a jack line, it will self purge. if its a slide line, it will have to be bled. look up hose "a" bleed procedure. its in the bulletin section of the hwh site. call me if you have questions 602-549-3638. i work for hwh and live in arizona.
i do not sell parts or solicit service work on this forum. - It should self purge.
However I opened slightly the line at the cylinder to make it go a little quicker. I then waited for the fluid to start dripping and then closed the line. It only took a minute or so. - tenn_vol_ExplorerMy grandson who is 6'3" weigh in at 300 lbs. just changed
both hydr hosed on my 32ft. Adventure. The hoses on the
front slide ram,the ones behind the WH. We did not remove
the WH. HWH shipped both for $80. plus shipping...
I know the HWH system is self purging,my question will I
need to charge the lines with some fluid or will they still
self purge with that much air? Does anyone know???...tenn - Canadian_RainbiExplorer

Never heard of mobile hydro shop but will keep that tidbit in mind if needed. Thanks.
Our 32' 2002 Itasca Horizon DP has a panel along side the water heater that can be removed. However in our rig there is no slide on that side (passenger). We had a hydraulic line for a jack start to leak. We called a mobile hydraulic shop that came to the campground. Let him worry about access and routing! Only $ :E
Most large hydraulic shops and many smaller ones have mobile units. Always worth a phone call. - Bikeboy57ExplorerBefore you pull the line out, take the new hose and use a double male coupler to attach the new line to the old line. That way when you pull the old line out, the new one will be in it's proper place. Snaking hyd lines through a built coach can be a challenge since they were put in place during construction in some applications.
- TDInewguyExplorerIf you are anywhere near Iowa, I have a 2002 itasca horizon 39QD and HWH had a recall on the hoses and replaced mine for free. (this was several years ago, but I'd imagine it would still apply?)
Good luck! - Pirate1Explorer
