Residential Refrigerator Install Planning

Shortly, I will be removing my Norcold 1200 refrigerator and installing a residential refrigerator. I am thinking about the Samsung RF197 if I can find one available. If not, something very similar.
My coach came equipped with a small 300 watt quasi-sine wave inverter that powers my entertainment center consisting of the tv and DirectTV dvr.
I also have a 1750 watt quasi-sine wave inverter coming directly off the batteries for my CPAP machine and occasionally running the Keurig coffee pot. This inverter is on the opposite side of the coach from the refrigerator.
What would be the minimum size pure-sine wave inverter that I should be thinking about. I realize that some refrigerators will run on a quasi inverter, but if I am going to purchase an inverter, I might as well get a pure sine wave.
I have two house Exide 31XHE-V batteries, 925 CCA, 1050 CA and 180 RC each. They are about two years old.
We don't boondock but do overnight periodically in Rest Areas and WalMarts. Should I consider adding another Group 31 battery (for the new inverter) and tie it in series with the other two batteries? Would rather not if I don't have to, as I pretty much utilize all my available outside compartment space.

    I need someone to explain "adding a transfer switch". What does it do and how is it "wired" in?

    Also, I inquired that if I was to install another inverter, what would be minimum wattage inverter that would handle most, if not all, the potential refrigerators?

    I am not concerned of doing anything that would affect resale value.

  • In addition to the inverter, a good battery charger is also necessary. You will not want to spend all day charging the batteries.

    Are the batteries you have deep cycle? Starting batteries don’t do great when used in a deep cycle application. Maybe swapping them out with a couple of 6 volt golf cart batteries would be good. The golf cart batteries would give you about 200 amp hours.
