RO system question

Just had an RO installed in MH last week. It's filling tank really slow. I know we don't have good pressure but sometimes it seems like it stalls out completely. Couldn't see any water dripping so we went and turned water off then back on and it's going again. Could it be possible we have a airlock or something and if so how do we take care of it?
  • They fill slow. I'm on well water at home with 55-60 psi and basically it's a fast dribble. At 45 psi, it's worse... Just how it is. You can add an electric pump to bring pressure up, but it's a pain.

Consider a bigger tank - or more than one. Pretty easy to get by cooking / whatever with 1.5 gallons.
  • As stated the lower the pressure the less it works. We have in home and RV and the rv is the hardest to keep going. If you are talking booster pump that runs on the RO waste water. Don't , really can not tell the difference. We only run it now when connected to city water. 75 plus pounds and they work ok.

We have over 40. But not much. Can't remember what the name was. We may buy a booster pump but so far we are keeping up.
  • My system needs 40 psi to work -- below that my water pump takes over.

What RO system did you install?
