Road Service?

Thinking of going from a small 5th wheel to a motorhome. Generally, I have been against purchasing road service protection and have done fine without. However, the MH will have to have some years on it so I'm thinking it might be time to get protection in case of need for towing, tire changing, etc. My son has AAA and added RV coverage and is pleased but I also know there is Good Sam's. So, would like to hear advise and experiences with both plus any other programs. Also, a ballpark cost estimate.

I've been RVing since 1976 and never owned any type of protection policy! In 2010 My RV was involved in a freak accident a run away truck hit my coach and my insurance company GEICO paid for everything! Fixed my coach, paid to have my coach towed and lodging. And they didn't raise my rates.
