You guys are not going to report them all here, are you?
As a pilot, we review and study a lot of aviation related crashes. RVs are not aircraft, however, as unfortunate as it may be for the victims, we all can possibly learn from their misfortune and possibly prevent ruining our day, our motorhome and prevent injury or death.

Sure would like to hear the specifics on that crash. Hundreds of folks drive the same road then someone comes along, flips it, and inconveniences other drivers for hours. Gee, that sounds harsh.
Harsh as it may sound it's probably spot on. Highly likely it happened due to some kind of operator error. - mike_brezExplorer

Just the rv related ones. :p - -Gramps-ExplorerWe are presently located near the Blue Ridge Parkway a hundred miles or so north of where the motorhome rolled. I suspect that they were traveling on the parkway about the time a massive rain and wind storm hit the mountains. They may have missed the curve due to poor visibility and it was very slick..just a guess.

most likely going too fast and over she went
That seems to me like a bit of armchair quarterbacking that may be uncalled for. If it was simply going too fast for the corner, it ought to have overturned towards the outer side of the curve, rather than the inside. I would guess either an overcorrection to some problem (running off the pavement accidentally, perhaps), or maybe a collision with the Jeep that was also off the road causing a loss of control. It also looks like a rather rainy, wet day from the pictures, so the pavement (and certainly grassy shoulder) may well have been somewhat slippery.
I'm not trying to suggest that the driver absolutely was not going too fast for the conditions, but only that there are other possible explanations or at least partial explanations as well, and it seems to me there's way too little information to make any reasonable judgement.
I am very glad that nobody was killed or apparently even seriously hurt. It could have ended in a much bigger tragedy. - azdryheatExplorerbad link
