Seat Belt Support

On my drivers seat, there is a long piece of plastic that supports the seat belt on the right (aisle) side of the seat. This is to keep the belt up so it is easier to reach when buckling in.

Over time it has cracked so that the seat belt sticks straight out, making it difficult to access the seat.

I do not know the name of this part, but the seat belt runs through it from where it exits from under the seat, holding the buckle end up so it can be easily reached.

Does anyone know what this is called, and/or where one could be purchased. Like most captains chairs in class A's, I believe the seat was made by Steelcraft.

Thanks....

  • To both of you than answered, THANKS.

While searching, I found the SeatBeltPlanet site, and ordered from them.

After looking at both, I would have preferred the other site as I think it would have fit better, and did cost $3.00 less.

Either way, a part has been ordered. THANKS...

  • It's called a "sleeve" and it's pretty generic. In most cases you can replace by unbolting the belt from the seat attachment and sliding a new sleeve on. There might be some available that open/close over the belt, requiring no unbolting.

Here's a link to one replacement source. seatbelt sleeve.
