Do you have the replacement Nylon slides? They have 2 round extensions that fit in the Aluminum block they sit on. All you do, is LIFT the extended room up about 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch and slide the Nylon slides in to the 2 recessed holes. Do this with the room not fully extended. About 2 to 4 inches from full extension. Usually Tiffin supplies the complete part----The Aluminum block and the Nylon glides. You do not use the Aluminum block. Lifting up the room and securing it in the raised position is the hard part for Non Service Center replacement. A way to do it is to be on a concrete/Asphalt type surface. Extend the RIGHT side HWH jacks and lift the RV 2 to 4 inches ONLY. Install bracing under the room and SLOWLY have someone manually retract the jacks and as the Motorhome starts down the bracing will keep the room up as the motorhome settles down. DO THIS VERY CAREFULLY AS YOU DO NOT WANT TO DAMAGE THE ROOM. Doug
PS, Make sure the Air bags are deflated and do NOT start and run the engine when doing this. You do not want the air bags to inflate. If you have a Ford Chassis, then you do not have air bags.
Our shop,we have a AC lift, that we use to raise slide rooms for these type repairs.
