- tropical36ExplorerI have an old fashion DW model, that still works really well. I've even been known to partake in this chore, on occasion.
At home, the utensil drawer is pretty much empty, by time the dishwasher is full and that's only because we have an 18" model. Otherwise we'd have to have, even more in the drawers.
They make for a good closet, as someone, has said. - MRUSAExplorerWe have a Fisher Paykel and never use it. To us it is a waste of space and a waste of money.

Don't have a dishwasher....other than me! If we did have one, the machine kind, it would be used for storage.
I was going to say "I am the dishwasher"... :W - ArchHoaglandExplorer

Not Really F & P will use a couple of Gallons DW will use 20 or 30 gallons no contest - we got the F&P so we could Boondock and still use real Dishes.
JMHO, - MooshakerExplorerWe have 2 Fisher Paykel dishwashers in our stick home and one in the MH. We use it all of the time in the MH. Rinse the dishes good and put them in the dishwasher. Run the dishwasher when full. My wife would not have a MH without a dishwasher.

- sportechExplorerSold the oven on eBay and purchased a KitchenAid dishwasher (new) and a ss cooktop (slightly used) at the same site. Net cost was $300 and some work. Also ended up with space for a huge drawer for pots and pans below the dishwasher. Made me a happy camper. My wife doesn't do the dishes while camping!

07 Revolution 40E - 10forty2ExplorerCurrently don't have one, but if/when we ever upgrade the coach, the DW THINKS she wants one. I'm good with using paper plates and plasticware/cups, but on steak night, I hate cutting through the plate..... LOL! So, there will always be dishes for her to wash... ;-)
I can see it would be good to have as long a FHU was available. I don't think you'd want to use it when boondocking or in a state park with no sewer.
