Steps and awning not working

Question

After letting the batteries run dry in our motorhome, the steps won't retract or the awning won't extend, even after getting new batteries.  Do any of you know what the problem could be?  The lights and slide outs still wrk, by the way.  I know the batteries shouldn't have been allowed to run dry, but my mother in law passed away and we have been busy fixing up her house, as well as other matters.

Check and make sure that you have flipped the 'cut-off' battery switches back on.MM.

Will the engine turn over? Check for a battery switch inside the coach or DC circuit breaker on the fuse panel.

The motorhome will start.  The slide outs work, as well as lights and refrigerator.  The battery disconnect was flipped back after installing the new batteries.
