Our 23'-8" scaled-down Phoenix Cruiser 2350 has a rear corner double bed providing decent outdoor storage. The rig inside has nice indoor storage too in-part because we don't have a slide out. We have "comfortable" dinette benches with memory foam seating with good bulk storage areas below. Also large cabinets above the dinette. With a slide-out, you give up the dinette for a couch, and you get less wall and ceiling space so the over-head cabinets get smaller.

This is the outdoor storage compartment, big enough that my wife and I could both cram inside at the same time and close the door. It meets our traveling needs very well, but admittedly I wished it was a bit bigger yet for the occasional unexpected bulky item. You can never have too much storage, making sure you don't over-load the rig in regards to weight. Our 2007 E350 has roughly 2300 pounds of margin. Loaded up on trips, we have a minimum of 1000 pounds to spare, likely more.
