Sumo "springs"

Is it bouncing, or hobby horsing? They could have different causes.

When it hits a bump, the front goes up, but then the sumo's restrict the movemet so you get this sudden stop and repeat. I need to check my tire pressure as I don't know how they were aired up at the dealer. I know I should get it weighed too, but all that's going on with DMV, that's the last thing I'm thinking about.

I'm curious why Keldermans are not an option; fitment on the rear not possible, or?

I have a 2014 tiffin open road 36 LA which the sumos were not an option. I put 4000 miles before i had then installed and I can tell you for a fact that they make a big difference in the ride. The 36 LA with a 252 inch wheel base is a great handling coach with out any modifications, so i only noticed a bit less side to side roll, but the ride is a 100% better

I put them on my 05 Itasca on all 4 corners very happy with the ride W 20 chassis

Timbrens increase the spring rates. This will increase a rough ride, but it does away with the bump stops being hit, and a large jarring, on fairly smooth roads. A rough road will still be a rough road. The ride is much more stable with the timbrens. I would not remove them, they have increased the MH stability in almost all conditions. I could feel it more that my DW, because I have my feet on the pedals, and holding the steering wheel.

I have no problem with the ride. I did to start with, but after talking to them, they sent me different cushions to get a little space, then they were great. I carry a tool box that is pretty heavy, so in order to get some space above the timbren's it took a different size. With the trailer on, it supports the weight to prevent sagging, and that is what I wanted. I don't notice it being rough over bumpy roads like some complain of, but it is a truck, I don't expect Cadillac rides.
