thanks for all the past help

as many of you will remember, our rv'ving days took a serious turn last year with the failure of both our class a and the toad. it's going to be a haul to dig our way out of the financial crisis that created and in the meantime, hubby is now an OTR flatbed driver and mostly gone. i finally found an apt that i hope to move into by this weekend and have a mesa (AZ) rv dealer willing to take this thing on consignment. please say a prayer that it sells--would help those bills--but wanted to thank everyone both here and on the class c forum before that have helped with questions and concerns. lots of helpful advice! i learned a LOT, but apparently NOT how to pick a viable rv. this being the last few days in the rig and the end of an era or chapter in our lives--thanks to all, again.
  • I'm so sorry to hear you're having to leave RVing (for now). Good luck with the sale of your RV and best wishes to you in whatever adventures life has in store for you.
  • You have my sympathies for your rash of troubles! In the hope of sharing some tempered encouragement - your vehicle will sell. It just may not sell for the price you want, or worse, the price you need.

It's very hard to walk away from such a big investment. Especially an investment that's as much emotional as financial. But, just try to prepare yourself for offers that are less than you hoped for.

I do hope I'm wrong; I hope you get every dollar you need out of it.
  • Hello. Sorry to hear about your troubles and if is any consolation. ....you are not alone. I made a big mistake and bought a Class A 1996 and did not do any research. I have had nothing but troubles with it and will never recoup the money put into it. My problem is I don't know when to stop.
