Thoughts from owners of Forest River Georgetown 378

Would like to hear from the Georgetown owners with the Triton V-10 as to how they like or dislike the performance and reliability in pulling a vehicle on a caddy. Do you recommend a 3,000 or 5,000 pound hitch? What about the full size refrigerator and or washer option; any comments about them?

WHAT are people's feelings about the manufacturer Forest River in general? Are they good for customer service? Are they well built? Georgetown in particular.

We have a 2012 378 and the performance has been very acceptable for us. We are not in a race and yes sometimes the engine sounds loud when going up hills but its made to high rev, just slow down and enjoy the ride. We did tow a 2012 Chevy Cruze and had no issues and this year we purchased a 2015 Ford Taurus and have not towed it but planning a 3 month trip in June. The towing is rated for 5000#. The only option is a combo washer/dryer and we chose not to have one since we full time and needed the closet space. Our friends installed one and seam to like it. Also go over to Forrest River forums and check out things. Again we have been very pleased with our decision.
