Tilt up dash

Question

Hi All, Got a question, I have a 2000 Pave Arrow 35n that we just got about 2 weeks ago. Its on the Ford chassis.
How do you tilt up the dash like it says in the brochure? I think the previous owner put in an aftermarket stereo and screwed something up in doing it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You should be able to lift up the dash by the steering wheel,and there should be a rod to hold the dash up,

My dash was held down with velcro. Made a ripping sound when I lifted it. I though I was tearing something loose. It was just the velcro.

My Bounder has a strap with a snap on it, just right of the steering column.Richard

I have a question. Is this a common feature of all class A's?I've always been attacking mine from underneath the dash, but getting to things from the top sure would be handy.Thanks,~Rick

no not all , I wish my safari had this, although mine has most of the electrical mounted in a pod that has access from a rear cover
