I go inside and give them my credit card, fuel up and then pull forward if I want to go back in for receipt etc.

At Pilot/Flying J, look for the separate truck entrance, pull into line or up to a pump, put in your Good Sam-P/FJ credit card, enter your code and start pumping fuel. Get DEF if you need some while you're at it.

Get the receipt at the pump sometimes. Other times you have to go in for a receipt. Pull up to the yellow line or have your co-pilot do so when done fueling.

We use the Pilot/Flying J all the time with their Good Sam Card. As GM & JM says you just swipe the card put in you number and fuel. I just write the gals. and $$ in my notes and don't bother with a receipt; just drive away. Usually you are done in less than 15 minutes. Pilot debits your bank once a month.

My experience, like those above...Pilot/Flying J, easy. However, Loves is a PITA, I don't stop there.

We also use Pilot/J and the PF/J Card. Pull up, swipe, enter code, pump and you are done. Rather than go inside for receipt (most of the pumps do not give me a receipt), I just snap a photo of the pump readings with my smart phone. Verify when the electronic bill comes and it has never been a problem. As others said, if you go inside after pumping fuel, just pull up to the yellow line so folks behind can get to the pumps.

I usually get in line and when I get to the pump I send my wife into the store with the credit card. When I am finished fueling and cleaning my windshield I pull forward so truckers can fuel.The pump you will be using using has the number on the right side pump. But if you want you can fill from either side. But the left pump has to be activated by the right pump. I have never had a problem with truckers they seem to be friendly to me.:)

x4 or so for Pilot/Flying J as long as you can afford the price they charge for their fuel. Before the merger I travel FJ to FJ. Now, I go to PFJ only if there is no other reasonable choice. Yes, it's easy but you can often find easy at other stations as well. All you need to fuel at a P/FJ is their RV card. You swipe it at the pump, fuel and then go inside to pay. It's a better option then using the P/FJ CC or account as your CC likely gives you better cash back rewards than the discount their card offers.
In any case, if you do choose to use the truck lanes in your RV you don't need to make any special considerations for the truckers. You are just the same as they, we both need fuel. Get in line, pump 'til it's full, pull forward after pumping if you need to go inside and then pay and get out of the way.

I pull up use the little phone, give them my tag number, fill up, pull up so next driver can get to the pump, go inside and pay, go outside and get going.....

I like Pilot but have ben looking at alternatives. I filled up at a PETRO Yesterday in Glade Springs GA for 2.559. I am looking into getting a card.

Having driven 3 million miles in a truck. Don't worry about getting on the fuel island. Go in give them your card and fuel. Male sure they give you RV price and don't charge the road use tax. In Pa they will not discount it at any Fly J. I buy everywhere but Pilot and Petro now. Marathon and Vlero are better priced and less crowded. Loves haven't cleaned a urinal since 1975 or 06.
