Tryon Tire Protection

I have a special tool that came with the Tyron to remove them. It works well as I have used it both on & off. The Tyron device must be removed before the tire can be taken off.

Tyron looks like a great safety product, since I carry a mounted spare I might have these installed on my 2 front tires, a bus just yesterday had a blow out and crossed the lane and hit a semi, 8 people now dead just from a blowout.

I just bought a Southwind that had them on the front. Motorhome needed new tires. In shopping for tires, I'd mention the Tyron straps and most tires stores indicated they could work with them, but were't thrilled about changing them. My concern was having a flat on the road. I decided to leave them off when I bought new tires. The tire store took them off in about 2 minutes, didn't seem like a big deal. By the way, I have them for sale, they're off 22.5 steel tires on a workhorse chassis. To aid in steering and in the event of a blowout, I installed a Safe T Plus steering stabilizer.

That is my big concern. Just had six of eight tires replaced and wanted to put two new ones on he front. Tire shop wouldn't touch them.

That would be a major problem. Would think that would be something you best tell you ERS if you have a flat.

And I have read on some forums that their customer service is very lacking.
