recently replaced the front tv (94 am eagle) with a tv/dvd player there was a lot of room in where the old one came out so I mounted it on soft close slides from home depot and added a small drawer to hold the remotes and other small items, the soft close slides so far have kept the tv from sliding out on acceleration, there is also enough room below the new tv for another small drawer that I have not gotten to yet

As you are shopping for the new tv, be aware that different models have different speaker locations, including on the back, on the bottom, and on the front. Depending on how you mount and enclose, this may make a difference.

The SALE prices are for Internet orders only. Only the items clearly marked "ONLINE ONLY" are not available in their dealership stores. Not all models are stocked in all stores of course, but there have usually been at least a few sizes in stock in CW stores store I've been to. The others can be ordered for pickup at the store...

I replaced the one on our dash in our 99 Hurricane. I was thinking about doing some type of cabinet like you said. Turned out that installing the new one was easy, and when complete, it looked like a custom install. (which it was). Here is a link to some pictures, if you have difficulty seeing them, let me know. I also had to replace the 27" overhead monster in our current coach. Had to get a couple of neighbors to help me get the 90' monster out. Then had to pay $15 to dump it.

Oh happy day!!!!! I was so tickled when I was forced to upgrade TV's in my Safari. After replacing one that quit I decided to keep going with the other one as the new sets are so much nicer to look at. Hopefully this will be a positive for you also.

FWIW, we replaced our old heavy tube TV with a more energy efficient flat screen and trimmed around accordngly. TV worked fine, afraid of weight bouncing around as screws work loose above our driving seat heads but mainly changed out because of wanting to be "off grid" totally as is our preference.

Just saying in the spirit of forward thinking plans: If you are thinking in the future, of boon docking often or going solar/unplugged, you might want to consider energy usage of the new TV, for your batteries.
