That is probably just a low loss way to get you in to inform you of the other $3K of repairs you "need" and to get your name and address to send you 100 overpriced offers per week.:)
I saw that my local Camping World has an RV spa package. I believe it included the wax job. I can't possibly do mine, and BF is not a likely candidate either, so I'm pretty sure I'll have to hire it out.
Check around. Some other local will likely do a better job at a better price. - HeeHawHoneyExplorerI saw that my local Camping World has an RV spa package. I believe it included the wax job. - rvtenExplorerI pay a guy in TX. For wash and wax.
He is much younger and has help. - BlueJeanExplorerIsn't there someone you can pay to do this? Lol!
Seriously, I should do mine too. - jcappsExplorerAnytime. When I first used it I could not believe the difference either

Thanx for that info. I had an area that had over spray. Polish or wax did not remove it. I got a Meguiars clay kit last night and tried it this morning. It worked better than I would have ever imagined. Over spray gone and smooth.
Have you ever waxed a car and when done it just does not feel smooth and waxed? That's because of the impurities embedded in the paint. Try claying and its a world of difference
They sell a clay kit, it includes a spray detailer and the clay. It works like a lubricant for the clay.
You spray the area to wet then run the clay over it. The clay removes the impurities that are bonded to the paint. Then you dry the area. When you clay the complete vehicle then wax the vehicle.
I will save doing the whole unit until next time though. :) - az99ExplorerGood luck with the wheels. That is worse than waxing if you have the polished aluminum wheels and want them really nice.
I put mine up on the jacks so I can turn the wheels. - moose888ExplorerIm done except the wheels !!!!!! Jamesbr 38 footer in 12 hours your the man ! Im 63 and Im tired out after 4 hours of waxing and rubbing. I did find a easy way to do the high spots after the third damn day . I used my toyota 4x4 pick-up truck. I parked beside the Rv stood in the bed and worked on the top half of the RV. I used a synthetic Mothers wax turn out good just don't know how long it will last. I don't know how to post a picture but it looks great even the wife said it looked good.
- lfcjaspExplorerDH washes our MH and applies the wax (can't recall the name, but it's something he's used on our vehicles forever), polishes it on the high places...I help with the lower half...I do appreciate his willingness to play with the ladder:) I think it's Nu Finish, in an orange bottle. We have two coats on most of the camper...in a few weeks we'll finish the back side and rear. He's also got plans to clean the roof and check it over...yes, this keeping our "second home" beautiful is tiresome and time-consuming...just like the primary home!!!
