Have you ever waxed a car and when done it just does not feel smooth and waxed? That's because of the impurities embedded in the paint. Try claying and its a world of difference
They sell a clay kit, it includes a spray detailer and the clay. It works like a lubricant for the clay.
You spray the area to wet then run the clay over it. The clay removes the impurities that are bonded to the paint. Then you dry the area. When you clay the complete vehicle then wax the vehicle.
I will save doing the whole unit until next time though. :)
