Like Diado24, I recommend the dual receiver adapter. I have on on my Winnie View. Bikes ride on a rack above the towbar. Traveled 14k miles last year with that configuration.
Some ladders are not mounted to enough structure to handle the weight of two bikes bouncing on the back, so I avoid that solution. However, it does work with a properly mounted ladder.
A front mount is also a viable solution. Costs quite a bit more than the dual receiver adapter though.
