Wheel Hub oil!!

My Freightliner uses 80W 90 oil in the front wheel bearings.

Yes, the majority of larger RV's as well as most all OTR trucks use oil to lube the front wheel bearings (and trailer bearings on OTR trucks).

Sure a lot easier to change the oil than to remove the hub and repack with grease.

it shows a front oil filled bearing I thought one picture would be worth a thousand words.

We have bearings on the front so no hub oil. We just need to have them done every 30,000 miles which is coming up at our 60,000 mile service. We DO have hug oil on the rear axle which is checked every 5,000 miles when I have he chassis lubed.

Mine takes 90 weight gear oil.
