Just had most of my over the air system replaced. Exposed Cable on roof was badly weathered, amplifier quit working and it was part of the box of many buttons (bomb) had it all replaced, plus up graded to a 40" smart tv. On mine the red booster light would light up but did not work.

Take the wall plate off and see if 12V power is being supplied to it. If not, go look for your 12V fuse that says TV or antenna.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?

Check your 12v supply to the booster. You gotta get that working before Perry Mason on METV.
