I have a 97 coachmen santara with the 460 engine. It has taken me from New York to Arizona and back, to Myrtle Beach SC and back twice, to Boothbay Harbor Maine and back twice with no problems at all. Just uses a lot of gas as its a guzzler getting about 6.5 miles per gallon. It's got about 50,000 miles on it.
