I had also looked at the Instant Pot which does rice among other things too. While there have been reports of electrical issues, I'm guessing it's been resolved by now...
Small one, 3 qt on up in size.. does eggs and other stuff too, just a thought..

The Instant Pot works great for soft and hard boiled eggs. Since using the Instant Pot the eggs are so easy to peel, now.
