DougE,
Wish I could bring you some from Mamou, it is arguably the best. - dcb17bExplorer IIAnything you can put between 2 slices of bread and cook in a pie iron. Egg,grill cheese,Ruebin, fruit filling, pizza fillings, the possibilities are endless.

- DougEExplorerderouen6 - Sorry about that. I have to work with what I can get from HEB. It's best to heat, split the casing and dump it on a plate here. When I was in Lake Charles I would often get it from the Boudin King in Jennings. Don't think they vacuum package it for travel anymore. Have to settle for what I can get around Breux Bridge when I pass through on I10 now (which is rare these days).

Boudin in our neck of the woods is not greasy. You would be thrown out of Louisiana if caught eating boudin with a fork and knife. - Tom_TrostelExplorerFrito pie made in an individual bag of Fritos. That's chili, shredded cheese, onion, and Fritos mixed together and eaten with a spoon.
