  • Jello! Wow what a blast from my past. Doubt it's been seen in my house since the kiddos took off. Oh except for use in Bacardi rum cake. Vodka, fruit and jello would cover several food groups.

The Juice will allow it to set up. You cannot use Raw Pineapple in Jello because it has the Enzyme Bromelain that will not allow it to set up. Bromelain is destroyed when it is cooked. Canned Pineapple and Juice have been cooked. I am not sure about the Vodka. I would have to try it.

  • The only thing I disagree with is discarding the Pineapple Juice. I would use it instead of Water.
  • Sounds like a really great idea. If you're really daring, you can substitute vodka for the water. Just keep the kids from it...
