Can't Connect to Campground WiFi

Is it possible that you need a different password for each device? Did your wife login first? I know at one KOA that we use, each device needs a different password.

I don't even get the screen to put the password in. I am at KOA but they only gave us one password. They just said that I must have a firewall up.

Are you running an " all in one anti virus SUITE"
There is a firewall in that, or it could be Windows 7 firewall

Goto control panel, security
To access your fire wall
Check there to see if the Wi-Fi signal is being access blocked

Lots of times we can connect using our tablet, but not with the laptop. Most of the KOA's we have stayed in have very poor wifi. Just saying.

Just the opposite for me. Laptop works where the iPad won't. Not much of a problem when I have one of each. Just sucks the iPad has a poor antenna.

It's possible your laptop is just out of date with technology. I have a laptop that absolutely will not connect to my Iphone WiFi, but it does connect to my home WiFi. Now a few weeks ago my home modem got hit by lightning and it also took out my router. The internet company swapped out the modem, but I had to get a new router. When everything was fixed, my laptop would not connect to the new router's WiFi. I wasn't surprised because it won't connect to my phone either. 2 days later I went out and purchased a new laptop.

Click on the more information required message and it should open the window you need to enter the security information.

He has Windows 7 so I suspect that his equipment may be Ok. No guarantee but I just left Win XP. I always stay back a bit with the new OS offerings and it takes a fairly beefy computer to use Win 7.

I've run across that occasionally. I normally use Firefox and when that happens, I just close it and open Internet Explorer...then the window comes up asking for the password. Once connected, I go back to Firefox.

Try that and see what happens.

When you bring up your browser, is the address bar empty?

Once in a while public wifi doesn't automatically provide the URL in the address bar to begin the connection procedure. If you can find out what that url is, you can paste that in, and see if it work.
