How hard is it to use the 507 system with two different trailers if they are both fully equipped with sensors? Will I have to totally reprogram the system each time I switch trailers?
A friend of ours does essentially the same thing in that he tows two different toads, both equipped with TST sensors. The way he handled it was to set up the sensor positions as if the "trailer" had dual wheels on each axle. One toad uses the inner dual indicators, and the other one uses the outer duals. The only minor downside is the blank readings at the positions that are not in use as the display sequences through. - sure2rainExplorerI have theTireTraker monitor which is identical to the TireMinder. The reason I went with the TireTraker is that they offer a 3 year warranty as opposed to TireMinder's 2 year. Had a sensor go bad, simply emailed Tiretraker and I had a replacement within 3 days, no hassle.
- loggenrockExplorercooperwl, the TST system can handle up to 22 sensors, IIRC. The 6 on the RV would never change. Just call each trailer a different set of axles (you'll understand when you have the system...). So the active tires will show up in a slightly different place on the display. Should work fine! Each tire monitor has a different unique code. You could NOT program different monitors for the same axle location. ST

If both trailers have sensors on all wheels, you should be able to program both trailers the same (i.e. sensor numbers in the same wheel location). When you hook up a trailer the receiver is not going to know which trailer it is, just that there are 4 sensors back there transmitting signals. Contact TST to make sure that is doable.
You would probably need the trailers some distance apart when doing the programming so that there was no overlap in signals. - KlueckExplorerTST
We had the old TST system with the batteries that were NOT user interchangeable. Our monitors kept going out and w'e have to sent hem in for new batteries. They mostly did them for free since they haver lasted 2 years.
We finally got tired of that system, but decided to upgrade to their newer system that has user interchangeable batteries.
We like it real well.
One thing we had to have on a tire monitoring system was not only the pressure monitoring, but the temperature monitor. Some units don't monitor temperature.
We have the flow thru monitors for the coach and the regular ones for the truck.
So far, so good! - cooperwlExplorerHow hard is it to use the 507 system with two different trailers if they are both fully equipped with sensors? - dbblsExplorerI have TST and it works well. Customer service is great.

TST 507RV. Lot of us use them. Have not heard anyone complain about them. Very happy with mine.
Easy to set up, user replaceable batteries, standard or flow thru sensors.
Do a little google searching for the best price.
