Found the PERFECT TV mount!

Was wanting to upgrade the TV in the front of the Discovery but needed a mount that would enable me to raise & lower the TY from the mount between the drivers/passenger.

Looking over hundreds of TV mount sites I ran across a mount from Dynamic Mounting LLC, a really SLICK mount used to mount TV's over fireplaces. This mount will handle TV's up to 100 lbs so my 40" Samsung smart TV was no problem at all!

Here's a PIC of the original setup. Note the small TV up above and the smart TV on the front dash.

Second shot is a PIC of the monitor in the UP position.

Here's a shot of the monitor in the down position for viewing.

Does it lock in place so it doesn't move when your driving?

Note that this mount can handle up 10 a 100lb TV. The mount is VERY stable driving down the road.

The swivel from left to right, the downward force and tilt after extending is ALL adjustable. I'm very satisfied with the quality & build.

You just can't skimp on certain items. You can't engineer one of these mounts overnight. Lots of thought went into this mount.

Great design, but $400 seems a bit out of line for any TV mount.......

Ive dug all around the net for the proper mount and this fits the bill. Note that it is a well engineered mount that will easily handle a 100lb TV.

I want a well engineered TV mount holding up that TV above my head. I'm very satisfied with the quality of this mount!

Find me the same quality mount at a cheaper price & post the link. I'd like to see.

If that is what I wanted I would do it... This is a one time cost and should last for many years...

Hope it has an easy method for removing the HDTV. We did something like that at work one time and when they said permanent mount they really meant it...
