Being 4G doesn't mean anything. The Sling will throttle the itself to the maximum thruput it can obtain... All of it. If you have a solid 8mb connection on both ends, that's what it will use. I look at OTA from a Sling in Salt Lake on 100Mb circuits and have seen thruput exceeding 8.
