If you are an AT&T subscriber and a DirecTV subscriber you can use use the DirecTV app with an MHL/HDMI converter on your smart phone such as the Galaxy S5 to stream any of the channels in your DirecTV plan. This does not use any data on your phone plan. Trees are no problem.;)

Where there is a will, there is a way. I remember in NJ parked under trees and I had 100' of coax, so I went to a high tree limb to across the street and up a utility pose and anchored the dish there.

Get more coax or mount it higher if necessary but that's really still the only logical answer. Even buying a full sized antenna mounted on a pole stuck in the ground could be an option for getting a good signal in the trees.

Mt T-Mobil Simple Choice plan is in a hotspot. I usually pull up Netflix or amazon prime and cast to my TV using Netflix casting function or Chromecast. I used it all summer, it uses none of my data allowance when streaming.

T-Mo's binge plan limits you a small number of HD videos per day and the rest will stream at the lowest quality possible.

If you're an AMAZON PRIME or NETFLIX customer, you can download content and then watch it later. Maybe a weekly trip into town, spend an hour at Tarbucks or someplace else with fast WiFi downloading content and then watch it back home in the trailer.

It took me about 10 minutes to download a movie from Netflix, in high quality using my home WiFi. The movie was 870mb.
