Dash A/C

I have a georgetown 2003 346 workhorse 8.1. My dash was work great when i return from a trip. Getting it ready for another trip and the Switch to turn the blower on will not turn the blower. Any idea would be helpful.Forrest River does not have a wireing diagram for this motor home. Have check all fuses under the dash and under the hood

  • Yes it was working fine when i got back from last trip . I replace the blower motor 2 years ago it was just noisey when i plug it back in still nothing. It will not work on any speed. Heater will not work either. when i take the switch from the wires i dont have any power to the plug on back of switch. I check the A/C compressor relay and it not bad.
  • Did it work correctly previously? Like having different speeds depending on the knobs position? If not, it's the blower motor relay.

Several .. First inspect the motor, it is where the co-pilot can kick it, Make sure the wires are attached (I have a real issue there)

now... This is on my workhorse, yours might be different but down near the break pedal is the IP fuse panel.. One of those fuses is "HEVAC" or Heater... Mine was NOT connected to it.. However if you inspect the wires connected to the nearby terminal block (IP BLOCK) you may find a wire marked HEVAC.. I did, it was yellow as I recall but do not take my word for that, Clearly lettered.

It was connected to AUX-1 Terminal.. and that is a circuit breaker (The lower one on the left of the Fuse block) which was defective.
