Brand new Jayco trailer, heat would not come on, driveway camping and going down to 45 degrees outside. Google led me to a post here from 2010 that had the solution, and I'm so happy that I want to repost it in case someone else needs to know,
The switch on the Hydro Flame thermostat would not move, no matter how hard I tried. I was afraid I was going to break it. Obviously if I couldn't turn it on I wasn't going to have any heat!
The solution was to take the cover off the thermostat and loosen the screw that holds the metal over the switch. Now it's working like a charm. Thank you for being here and sharing your solutions!
