I tow a 2015 Ford Focus four down. The last step to prepare the car to tow is to disconnect the negative cable from the battery. I mounted a knob style switch under the hood for the disconnect.
I used a knob style switch that came with my Cool Tech wire harness but discovered that it would corrode and fail to make a good connection with the battery. Replaced it with a sealed switch that I got at AutoZone and haven't had problems since.
