Difference Please!

Thanks everyone! Ok got it now, so I freaked alittle, I'm allowed :)

Go here. The Manufacturer at the bottom is listed as Rand McNally.

Woodalls is just a campground listing. Good Sams has a campground listing as well. Just as does Trailer Life. Here's a hint, they are all the same. All within the same realm. If you go to Woodalls.com, you will see up in the left top corner a campground search box. What does it say? "Good Sam RV Travel Guide & Campground Directory". And if you go to Trailerlifedirectory.com, you get the same thing.

All in all, it's a Rand McNally GPS. It is just configured with RV parks in it already and is geared towards RV'ers.

Is there any part of this that says if I don’t know what the 7725 is, to inquire about what the differences are, and if there was no display model to look at. To open the box and check the contents before leaving the store…

But the salesmen did answer the question. He said it was the new version. It is a Rand McNally 7725 like he said.

I understand Tara's dilemma, she asked specific questions to obtain a specific item. The sales person should have specifically explained to her what she was getting so there would have been no later surprise's when she's 45 minutes away. Now if she wants to return it, she must either pay out of her pocket to ship it back or drive 1.5 hours to and from Camper World and pay out of her pocket again for 1.5 hours worth of fuel. Since Camper World didn't adequately address her questions when she purchased the product, maybe they should reimburse her for her expenses to return the item. You are just fine. The 7725 is the 7720, just has the Good Sam logo and marketing hipe.

7720 and 7725 appear to be the ame unit...just rebranded - renumbered for Good Sam and sold through Camping World....Read this.....LINK
