Dual pane windows - how do you know?

All those ideas are great if your there in person. The OP is shopping on line. kind of hard to do that. and as was said if you ask they will tel you what you want to hear. maybe they could send you a picture of the window should ne able to tell fairly quickly.

this reminds me of my test drive in the Bounder I bought. the salesman mentioned that the front side sliding windows were "duel pain" and could produce a noticeable and distracting reflection when light hit them in a certain way. He wondered why Fleetwood hadn't been sued over this causing an accident. after he said this, I noticed what I hadn't noticed before, a reflection. don't know if they are still putting dual pains in the driver's range of vision however.

Throw my 2 cents in... Having had campers with both, the value of dual pane comes into play depending how you camp. We will camp in cold weather as often as in warm weather. Those who store their rig all winter won't really benefit from dual pane and will have the issue of having to reseal them every 10 years or so. If you use your camper year round like us, dual pane is much more comfortable, even more so than in your stick house. In a camper you are often sleeping within a foot of the window glass and the dual pane prevents that cold feeling you get with single pane as the cold air slides off the window onto you. Also, since RVs are pretty closed up, moisture will condense much more on a single pane window (and frost over in really cold weather). Again, if you are a fair weather person, don't worry about the windows, if you are like us, insist on dual pane.
