Exterior repair cost
So, while the outlot between our house and the neighbor's house was being mowed, a rock flew up and hit our camper, creating a hole the size of a silver dollar or so, and also the rock is still stuck in there. The HOA is responsible for maintaining that outlot.
We took it to the body shop of the dealer where we purchased the camper. We received an estimate today (after it sitting there for 2 weeks), and the estimate was $2600. The parts cost in the $300 range, and they're estimating 20 hours of labor to fix this.
Now, our HOA has said they would pay for the repair, but I'm guessing they wouldn't have thought it would cost $2600 and I'm worried they'll try to push back on that.
So my question is, does $2600 seem accurate to do a repair like that, or are they just wayyyy over estimating to be safe and it'll come in much less?
