Great Customer Service

I did not know where to post this, but I wanted to give a big shout out to a company that has gone the extra mile in customer service.

We bought two TravelChairs from a local store. These are light-weight, folding chairs, and we found them to be very comfortable. Anyways, after about 4 months, one of the chairs had a part break on it (and it was my wife's chair who weighs A LOT less then I do), and also, the ends of the feet came off after sinking into some soft earth.

I contacted TravelChair Company asking if I could purchase a replacement part for the chair since I did not see anywhere on the website for the replacement part. I also told them about the feet coming off and that we lost two of them. I never asked for them to give us anything, not once.

In less than 12 hours I was contacted by Olivia Geeson, Admin Assistant for TravelChair. She asked that I send in a few pictures of the broken area. I did. It was then that she informed us that we had two of their older models and they were going to send us a brand new replacement (new model) and the newer, wider designed feet!! And again, I never asked them for this level of service, they simply did it.

So I would highly recommend that anyone looking for light-weight camping chairs to give TravelChair Company a look. They have several models. I have no financial ties to this company, so I am only speaking as a very happy customer.

  • Wow! That is great service. When the customer is satisfied he/she will come back and tell others. More businesses should learn that.
  • That is great customer service, unfortunately that is something seriously lacking in todays business's.

Thanks for the heads up on the chair company. We're going to look into them. And at the risk of being critical of your post. I had to read it twice slowly. You said "Anyways, after about 4 months, one of the chairs had a part break on it (and it was my wife's chair who weighs A LOT less then I do), and also, the ends of the feet came off after sinking into some soft earth." I think it would of been prudent to also capitalized the word LESS (after A LOT). And maybe even underline A LOT. Just thinking of your well being.

Thanks again for the chair info.

OK, Your point is well taken. Perhaps I should have said, "who, light as a feather, did not even remotely approach the weight limit of the chair." :)
