I agree. My only issue is if they could put more room between the pumps, propane and dump station. If you are only getting gas, then you could be blocked a little while someone dumps or gets propane. Depending on the size of their setup.

Makes no difference to me. Since the merger of FJ and Pilot they are one of the highest priced places we see.

Actually we are lifetime members and were given the elite status for buying an rv from them. I didn't buy the rv to get the elite membership or to get an extra penny or two off gas. Matter of fact never had the rv plus card until after we bought this new rv. Only reason was, because we were going to myrtle beach a lot and the place we always stopped to fuel up at before was a flying j. So it made sense for us.

I don't know what the big deal is. Flying J, could just stop any kind of rewards program period and everyone would be out. They are partnering with Good Sam for it's members. For members this is a good thing. Especially those who would never bother to sign up for a rewards program, but will not automatically get it. Yes, there will be some who refuse to join Good Sam and will no longer use a Flying J (so they say). To each their own.

Don't forget that you pay for that "elite" membership. You pay for elite membership to a privately owned commercial enterprise.

I still don't know if the Swipe & Save card will automatically be sent to GS members but I sent a message (via their website) to GS and they are sending out a card which I should get in 4-6 weeks.

Doesn't help all hat much. In a previous posting you mentioned the rv loyalty card would be discontinued in a few months. Now you say "eventually". What is the projected timeline?

And to confirm, that going forward, you must be a Good Sam member to get a discount at flying j in the future (once the old cards are discontinued)?
