After reviewing all the responses and looking at my options I called my local gas company and we collectively came up with a workable solution.
Long story short we decided the simplest thing to do was tee off the line prior to the main regulator. It works great and cost me a grand total of $76.47. Needless to say as they say I’m a happy camper. Thanks all for your input.
