I don't use a regulator on my black tank sprayer. I do check the pressure by rinsing the dump area, before hooking to my sprayer. Only once, did I notice extreme pressure, so did not turn water valve fully open. I think there is a limit to what the system, with back flow preventer could handle.
If someone is waiting, I don't usually even bother with the BTR. I'll just do it next time.
